HOLLYWOOD HALLOWEEN
HOLLYWOOD HALLOWEEN
A personal project undertaken throughout the eighties and nineties documenting LA's largest and most free-spirited annual street party of that era. Hollywood Boulevard was cordoned off for a mile, from La Brea Avenue eastward towards Vine Street. Thousands of costumed partiers were able to wander freely for most of the night. Given the scale of the event and the Zeitgeist of those pre-9/11 decades, it is unlikely you will ever again witness something like that on the streets of Hollywood!
